Aquifer Investigation – Lower Indus Delta (Thatta Region)
A VES survey in the Thatta region identified a shallow saline layer (0–15 m), a freshwater aquifer (20–80 m), and deeper saline zones (>100 m). The 20–80 m layer is suitable for groundwater development, with monitoring recommended to prevent salinity intrusion.
Field Activity – Landi, Karachi
At Landi, Karachi, the ShDrilling team carried out VES surveys using an ABEM Terrameter SAS 4000 to locate aquifers. Based on the results, an 800-foot well was successfully drilled, providing a dependable water source for agricultural use.
